Equipment Needed

  • To complete the MumEternity Method from home, you’ll only need minimal equipment to get started.

  • At the very least, we recommend having:

    • Resistance bands

    • Short loop bands

    • One kettlebell or dumbbell in a weight that feels manageable for you

  • For those looking to progress further, you can enhance your training with additional equipment such as: a range of dumbbells or kettlebells and a barbell with plates.

Common questions about the programme answered

How long after giving birth can I start the programme?

The programme has ben designed to help mothers from day 1 postpartum, with basic recovery advice. However, it is always advised to seek medical approval first. Every birth story is different, and so it is very important to give the body time to heal. The main workouts (Connect Continued) begin from 6 weeks postpartum, as this is typically when you will have your postpartum check with your doctor.

Can I still join the programme after having a C-Section?

YES! The programme is designed for specific postpartum needs. I give a variation of methods to every exercise, so that every mother can be active at her own level.

I have a diastasis recti, can I still join the programme?

Yes! The programme is catered for all mothers. Those with recovering abdominals, scar tissue and pelvic floor dysfunction.

I have pelvic floor concerns, can I join the programme?

YES! Again please see the previous answer. I coach every exercise with pressure management in mind. This helps the core and pelvic floor to strengthen, and minimise those symptoms, so you can exercise confidently and more comfortably.

Will I lose weight on this programme?

While this isn’t a weight-loss-focused plan, many mums notice positive body composition changes as they rebuild strength and improve fitness. The emphasis is on function, strength, and feeling good in your body again — not restriction.

I didn't exercise during pregnancy. Can I still join the programme?

Yes, you can join. This is a great time to start exercise. You have a new body, and the programme helps you to connect with it again, and understand how it moves and feels. Because I offer a variation of methods to each exercise, you can regress or progress the movement to suit your needs 

I gave birth to my child 3 years ago, but haven't exercised at all since. Is the programme suitable for me?

You can join the programme at ANY time. Postpartum is considered anytime after birth. The body is very receptive, and even 10 years down the line, we can still strengthen and work on weaknesses and symptoms caused from pregnancy/childbirth

Do the workouts include my baby?

I do not use the babies in the workout, we use resistance bands and dumbbells/kettlebells. The workouts take no more than 20minutes in hopes to fit around your babies schedule and their short independent span. But I am sure many of the workouts allow you to hold and comfort your baby if need be at the same time.

What equipment do I need?

At a minimum, you'll need: A long resistance band, a short loop resistance band, one kettlebell or dumbbell

How are the workouts structured?

The 18-week programme is broken into four key phases:

  • Mobility – Release tension and improve movement

  • Connect – Rebuild the core and pelvic floor

  • Rebuild – Strengthen key muscle groups

  • Performance – Regain fitness and return to exercise confidently

Do I get lifetime access?

Yes! Once purchased, you’ll have lifetime access to the full programme so you can revisit any phase at your own pace, or use it again after future pregnancies.

Can I do the workouts at home?

Absolutely — the entire programme is designed for home use with minimal equipment.

What if I miss a week or fall behind?

That’s totally okay — motherhood is unpredictable! The programme is flexible and self-paced, so you can pause, repeat, or move through the phases when you're ready. You’ll have lifetime access, so there’s no pressure.

Can I do this alongside other exercise classes?

We recommend following the programme as your primary form of training for the 18 weeks, especially in the early stages. As your strength builds, you can gradually add in other activities, such as walking, yoga, or low-impact classes.

Is this suitable for multiple births (e.g., twins)?

Yes! Recovery needs may be greater with multiple births, but the early phases are gentle and adaptable. As always, listen to your body and progress at a pace that feels right for you.

What kind of support do I get during the programme?

You’ll receive step-by-step video guidance, access to our support resources, and tips throughout the programme. Some packages also include coaching support or community access — check your purchase level for details.

Can I do the programme if I’m breastfeeding?

Yes — the exercises are safe for breastfeeding mums. Just make sure you’re hydrated, well-nourished, and have been cleared by your doctor to begin exercising.
